As you glance through the recipes on this site, you’ll notice a few things.
1) Recipes rarely call for added salt, and if they do it is optional.
2) When calling for an ingredient with sodium, I will opt for a low-sodium alternative and will link the brand when possible.
3) Sodium content is listed in each recipe per serving for easy reference.
4) In the beverages section, you will find plenty of mocktails, with alcohol only ever listed as optional.
This way, my recipes remain as kidney-friendly and customizable as possible!
